Joyce Appleby: The Relentless Revolution

The author, professor of history emerita and winner of the Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr. Prize for distinguished writing in American history, explores the development of capitalism over time. Particularly interesting are her thoughts on the connection between the development of capitalism and the industrialization. The book itself does not take a clear political stance and does certainly not always represent the opinion of everyone at ATTAC, but is a very good and thought-provoking read anyway.




This documentary seeks the causes of the greek debt crisis and proposes solutions. Free to watch on the web, and available as a DVD. Very nicely made and interesting, but of course very specific to the current situation in Greece.
